The staff make the difference, but the hotel needs attention. Maintenance of the building is definitely needed. Among other things, the elevators were not working properly during our stay. Furthermore, the information on the website does not match reality and seems outdated. For example, it states that men are required to wear long trousers for dinner, but in practice, nobody follows this rule and the same goes for several other hotel policies. Towels left on sun loungers to reserve them all day are also an issue and shouldn't be accepted. On a positive note, most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. They make the difference.
I had a fabulous time with my daughter at this hotel. The location is fabulous and the view from sea view rooms is stunning. From the Hotel you can get to Puerto Rico in 5 minutes or less (250 meters) or to Playa de Amadores (750 meters) in about 10 or less minutes. The Hotel has a elevator that takes you straigh to the path. All staff is remarkable all very nice! The food is good although I think they should have more healthy food variety as they have a lot of junk food for kids and some adults :). I recommend this Hotel for sure and I will come back again.
We had a fabulous time thanks to the warm and welcoming girls in the kids club. Without Luna and Sophia, I'm sure our experience would be very different. For 10 nights they've made it feel like home, their gorgeous kind faces, smiles and chats. Always there welcoming everyone, going over and above. I don't know how they do it everyday in this heat! The highlight of Jamie's (my 7yr old) day was getting to kids club after breakfast, spending the day chilling there, and the mini disco EVERY night which was a pure joy to watch. Thank you girls for the safe space you created for Jamie everyday, always including and encouraging him..and your endless patience. I know he will have nothing but AMAZING memories of his summer in Gloria Thalasso Amadores and he will always remember Luna and Sophia. Even Lunas firm daily instruction 'Jamie, have you put your suncream' on made me smile everyday..thank you for caring Luna, he secretly loved the firm prompt 😀 The hotel was fabulous, the room, the food, all the hard working staff..but there's real heart in the energy and love the girls give in the kids club. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. We have stayed here several times and always look forward to coming back. The location is absolutely perfect, right by the sea, with stunning views. Relaxing by the pool while looking out over the ocean is simply wonderful. A special thank you to the fantastic restaurant team for always taking such great care of our dietary requirements. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. A very special thank you to Chef Karima, who is always smiling, kind, and goes the extra mile to make every meal a pleasure. She is a real credit to the hotel. Our sincere thanks to Jose, the Food & Beverage Manager, for his professionalism, warm welcome, and excellent hospitality. Thank you as well to David and Teo, who always looked after us with kindness and a smile. We would also like to thank Oriel at Reception for his professionalism and outstanding customer service. He is a great example for new team members and those gaining work experience. Highly recommended – we can’t wait to come back!
Outstanding stay – exceptional staff and wonderful atmosphere I had a truly fantastic stay at this hotel in Gran Canaria, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the very first moment, the reception team made me feel welcome and well cared for. A special mention goes to Luis, whose leadership and professionalism are evident, along with his excellent teammates Piero and the rest of the reception lady’s staff, who were always kind, efficient, and helpful. The service at the pool area deserves equal praise, especially Ramon, who was attentive, friendly, and always made sure everything was perfect. The restaurant staff, across all meals, consistently provided high-quality service with a smile, contributing greatly to the overall experience. I would also like to highlight El Cubano, the bellboy, whose warmth and helpful attitude added a very personal and pleasant touch to our stay and taking care of my car and luggage. The hotel itself is fantastic: well maintained, comfortable, and welcoming. The room was excellent—clean, spacious, and very comfortable—the private pool AMAZING - making it easy to relax and fully enjoy the holiday. Overall, this was an exceptional experience thanks to an outstanding team and a wonderful hotel. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gran Canaria.
