Absolutely outstanding. One of the best dining experiences we have had in Gran Canaria. I ordered the Wagyu tenderloin medium rare, and it was simply exceptional. Perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor. Every bite melted in the mouth. Without exaggeration, it was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. My partner ordered the chicken, which was equally impressive. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. It's often easy for restaurants to focus on the premium cuts and overlook the simpler dishes, but not here. The quality was evident across the entire menu. The service was warm, professional, and attentive without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making the whole evening even more enjoyable. We came with high expectations after hearing great things about La Brasa, and somehow they still managed to exceed them. If you're visiting Meloneras and appreciate great food, this place is an absolute must. We will definitely be back.

We recently had dinner here and ordered what was described as Wagyu (79€ for 500g). The meat we received was decent and reasonably cooked, but we feel it is important to clarify something about the use of the term “Wagyu”. Real Wagyu — the one that made this name famous worldwide — refers to highly graded Japanese beef, typically classified as A4 or A5, with a very distinctive level of marbling. Outside Japan, most “Wagyu” offered in restaurants is actually crossbred beef or locally raised cattle with some Wagyu genetics. There is nothing wrong with serving good beef, and the meat we had was of acceptable quality. However, the solomillo we were served was unexpectedly tough, which was surprising for a cut that should normally be very tender. For 79€ we received a fair steak, but certainly not something that resembles true Wagyu. Using the term “Wagyu” without clear specification can feel misleading to customers who expect the characteristics associated with authentic Japanese Wagyu. Another unpleasant surprise came halfway through the meal, when we were informed that the POS terminal was not working and that we would need to go to a nearby ATM to withdraw cash. Tourist ATMs in the area often charge very high fees, so this was not a comfortable situation for customers to be placed in after already ordering and eating. Overall the meat was acceptable, but the ambiguity around the “Wagyu” description and the payment situation left us with a somewhat disappointing experience.
