What an incredible experience! From beginning to end, everything was simply outstanding. The dishes were refined and packed with amazing flavors — every course was a true explosion of taste. The wines paired perfectly with the food, making the wine pairing an absolute top-level experience. And not to mention the service: it was flawless. We were looked after so well throughout the entire evening. A big thank you to the entire team for making this such a wonderful evening. This is truly fine dining at its very best.
Firstly the staff were amazing, so welcoming and very informative. They were also totally in sink which was mesmerising. The location and views were to die for. Stunning setting. The most important thing was the food. The dishes were spectacular, the ingredients fresh and the courses were varied which was great. All the ingredients were local from the island or the neighbouring islands which is a nice touch. I would 100% return to Gran Canaria just to eat here again
First of all, I'd like to thank ALL THE WONDERFUL PERSONNEL for the unforgettable evening! We had a 20 years anniversary with my wiy, and I asked to try to make it special. And they did it!!! If you want a really unforgettable experience - La Aquarela is the right place. It's very quiet. You won't see a crowd here. The service is just exceptional! The dishes... Well, there are no words to describe it. You MUST try it for yourself! Each dish is very tiny, that's true. But God, what an amazing combination of taste!!! This is not just to fill your stomach, but to enjoy every single piece! A separate thank goes to the chef and the kitchen team! Thank you once again and continue the same way!!!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at La Aquarela in Anfi – and it’s an evening we will definitely remember. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this is a very special place. The atmosphere is elegant, calm, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel comfortable right away. The service throughout the evening was outstanding: attentive, professional, and with a great sense of timing – always present when needed, yet never intrusive. This balance is what truly defines fine dining. The culinary experience was exceptional. Each course was beautifully prepared, thoughtfully composed, and of the highest quality. You can truly feel the passion and precision behind every dish. One point we had read in some previous reviews did not reflect our experience at all: that you might leave the restaurant still hungry after the tasting menu. On the contrary – the progression of the courses is perfectly balanced, leaving you not only impressed but also fully satisfied. The drinks, especially the cava, paired wonderfully with the menu and completed the experience. All in all, a perfectly rounded evening: a special occasion, an outstanding restaurant, and an experience that exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return and can highly recommend La Aquarela.
Exceptional food and service. A must try experience if visiting Gran Canaria. Food, service and wine are of the highest standard. I’ve been coming here for the past 10 years and is a ‘must do’ experience for couples or small parties as the ambience at the restaurant is perfect. Thank you so much.
