If you want to experience the absolute best hospitality Gran Canaria has to offer, Mary D's Bar is the place to go. The staff here are phenomenal, the drinks are brilliant, and the entire atmosphere makes you feel right at home. It’s local gems like this that show how wonderful and welcoming the island truly is. A must-visit spot! Honestly, discovering places like Mary D's completely saved our holiday after a nightmare experience with a local Mogán taxi. My wife was physically assaulted and spat on by a professional driver. When we took the undeniable GPS logs and precise timestamps straight to the taxi cooperative management, they completely blanked our evidence and tried to pull off a cover-up by passing the blame to an innocent license holder. The driver knows he's in deep trouble, too—he was literally just caught red-handed tracking down my personal Facebook page and lurking on my private stories to keep tabs on us. It is completely unhinged behavior for a professional driver, but it just proves how panicked they are. Thankfully, the honest, hard-working team at Mary D's reminds us that this island is full of fantastic people. Don't skip this bar
Great atmosphere and felt safe entertainment really good cheap prices only 7 euros 50 for a pint and vodka irn bru karaoke after entertainment a bonus staff work really hard it closes when last person goes away we've been coming to puerto rico for nearly 30 years now and it's the first time in mary ds dont know why
Lovely pub with a exallant atmosphere the service was fast and professional. It was lovely they had the football on and everyone in the pub was friendly to chat too. There was a nice mixture of locals and tourists. Definitely coming back again felt so welcomed.
Absolutely cracking place of a bar, the staff make you feel so welcome and make sure you have a great time whilst you’re at Mary d’s and make you feel part of the Mary d’s family. The dj’s Terry and Harold are out of this world because of there shots quizzes which makes it a very enjoyable evening and holiday. Can’t thank the staff and dj’s enough for all there efforts they put in to make Mary d’s what it is today, would highly recommend coming here if you haven’t already tried it yet, I always come here when on holiday in Puerto Rico and always stop by in the evening when the quiz starts every night from 9pm
Used to be the best pub in Puerto Rico by a mile a few years ago. Especially when Sam and Ellis used to DJ there. Not the same now and needs a bit of tlc. Not bad but not what it was.
