Most beautiful place in Gran Canaria
Puerto de Mogan, Gran Canaria. A sort of local St. Tropez. A beach, a promenade along the beach and the port, and pedestrian streets in the Canarian style, bursting with flowers. A delight to stroll through. Note: there's a rather expensive parking lot under the market square (5 hours = €11). Bars, restaurants, and shops abound.
It's a beautiful place. It's definitely my favorite spot on the island. I've been going there since I was little, and every time I go, I enjoy it as if it were the first time. There are all kinds of shops, restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes, a very clean and well-maintained beach area, the port with its beautiful yachts, and charming little white houses with colorful accents, surrounded by flowers that add to their charm, and bridges.
