Great place, stunning views all round and a fantastic place to watch the sunset, the only downside was the staff weren't very attentive, had one coffee, but no one was keeping an eye on the tables checking if anyone needed anything else, got fed up of waiting so paid the bill and left..

Amadores Beach Club & Spa is an absolutely incredible venue that highlights the absolute best of Gran Canaria. The atmosphere is stunning, the service from the vast majority of the staff is top-tier, and the views over the water are breathtaking—it is easily a 5-star destination that we love visiting and highly recommend to anyone on the island. Unfortunately, our fantastic experience in the area was completely overshadowed by a shocking, dangerous encounter with a rogue local driver after a night out. I am sharing the full story here to warn other visitors. On the night of April 25th, my family of four (including my wife and her parents) took night shift Taxi #46 from Puerto Rico heading back to our accommodation at the Riu Vistamar Hotel. During the ride, one of our party had a stomach upset—they had been taking anti-diarrhea tablets and accidentally passed wind in the car. Instead of handling a minor medical mishap professionally, the night driver became completely unhinged and aggressive. Only 5 minutes into the journey, he forced our entire family out of the vehicle on a dark, dangerous stretch of road on Avenida de la Cornisa, abandoning us. The situation escalated into a serious assault. After forcing us out, the driver executed a dangerous U-turn in the middle of the road, deliberately drove down the wrong side of the road, and spat out of his window, hitting my wife. When I contacted the President of the Taxi Cooperative, Aythamy, he admitted to me in writing that they tracked down the vehicle and identified the exact driver. However, he flatly refused to provide the driver's name, hiding behind "data protection" to cover for his employee's criminal behavior. To make matters worse, Aythamy’s official advice to me for the future was that paying passengers should literally film their entire taxi journeys just in case they are attacked. Thankfully, an incredibly honest and high-integrity insider within the local taxi community stepped up to help us. They bypassed the cooperative's wall of silence and provided us with the vehicle's exact registration plate: 4956LBP (a Toyota Prius Plus). We want to make it 100% clear that the vast majority of taxi drivers and businesses here are fantastic, honest professionals—just like the insider who helped us. But because of this one dangerous individual, we have officially bypassed the local cooperative and filed a formal criminal complaint directly with the Guardia Civil and the SATE tourist police for coercion, reckless driving, and assault. The authorities are now legally forcing the cooperative to hand over his identity. Please protect your families at night: snap photos of your taxi numbers, track your journeys via GPS, and if anything happens, bypass the cooperative entirely and go straight to the Guardia Civil.

Probably the only place where you can go to the beach in Gran Canaria. The staff is good, the service is good, and the atmosphere is extraordinary. The music is great (it is completely missing from this island...it is the only place where you have newer music because otherwise you would say you are going back in time 50 years) with a DJ and you can watch live violin or saxophone performances. The food and coffee could be better. I don't understand such places, they lack vision and quality management. So...it doesn't get any better than that in Gran Canaria. Congratulations!

We loved it so much that we ended up coming here a few times. It has everything — pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, drinks and comfy loungers — all in one place. The atmosphere is super relaxed, with beautiful sunbeds, good music, and it’s right next to Amadores Beach, so the views are stunning. It’s the kind of place where you can truly switch off and unwind. We even caught the sunset from here, and it was absolutely beautiful — golden skies, calm sea, and the perfect end to the day. A great spot to relax, chill, and enjoy the beach club vibe in Gran Canaria.

We had an amazing day at this beach club, it was nice and not too busy with good music, respectful people, and the service was great compared to other beach clubs we went to! You also get a bottle included in the price. Would’ve loved to come back if we didn’t find it at the end of our trip. The only downside to it was that we couldn’t see the ocean so well.
