Reviews
Just back from a 5 day trip here and we absolutely loved it, we stayed in large classic bungalow, they are a little tired and old but absolutely spotless and so spacious, AC was perfect and had everything you’d need for self catering. we had twin beds where we would of preferred double but not a big deal! Towels and bins were changed every day and beds changed once while we were there as we only stayed 5 nights. Staff were amazing and very helpful, the pool is absolutely stunning and always beds available. Lifeguard however is very rule driven, not ideal for kids as you can’t have balls or inflatables. It is a bit of a far walk to anything but taxis are cheap and always available and only 5 mins away from everything by taxi. Mini mart on site is ideal and unlike other reviews it is reasonably priced not expensive, we loved it and will definitely be returning! 🩷
We have just come back from having 4 nights here and it was fab. I was very surprised by the place. The rooms do look a bit tired but it's not a big problem. The snack bar was reasonably priced. The free shuttle to the beach does get busy at times. I would recommend this hotel
So I’ve just got back after 7 nights here. I wouldn’t go back . To many rules regarding the pool !!! you’re not allowed inflatables in there you’re not allowed to get in before 10 o’clock. You’re not allowed to play ball in there. The water is absolutely freezing… pool shuts at 5.30 . The breakfast is cold and not much variety. The sheets were never changed the whole time I was there and I had to ask for the towels in the bathroom to be changed. Outdated basic bungalow. You have to get cabs everywhere unless you like a long walk to shops ,bar, restaurants.
Second stay. Beautiful place and staff. Apartments are basic even the Premium bungalows. But all kept clean by the maids. Place even when busy isn't too noisy. Pool bar do lovely snacks and happy hour. It is a little out of the way unless you like walking. We got Taxis. Which arrive straight away after reception order's. All in all nice visit
We had a bungalow with swimming up pool. The time of year we were here, the pool was too cold to use but during high season will be great. Had a not so good experience with food at the pool bar, ordered food to take away and asked to sit down, we ordered a beer and waited. After a while I asked if our food was ready and we were given it cold. When I explained that it was cold, the guy behind bar tutted and gave me a look that would kill lol. He took the food away and two seconds later returned it , us thinking it had been sorted, took it back to the room for it to still be cold and go in the bin 🙄 They have a happy hour 5 till 6 every night, we were served a beer each in a wine glass( clearly not a pint ). As a whole, it's a good base and we liked having the privacy of our own space around our own pool ( not having to fight for a sunbed ). We usually stay in Amodores and will definitely be going back there next year.
