This was our first holidays with my fiancee. We chose this hotel for the convenient location with the half board package and we chose a seaview double room. We had an amazing time in general! I am working as a Manager in a hotel as well so my feedback will be honest and constructive to help people choose this hotel for their holidays but also the Management to be able to improve a few things. Before we arrived I contacted the Front Office to arrange a small surprise in the room upon arrival. Lidia & Noemi perfectly arranged everything as requested and they made our arrival so special. Thank you so much for that! When we arrived from the airport, a kind man took our suitcases directly to our room, something that surprised me for a 4* hotel. Antonio made our check-in and gave us all the information, what a kind & professional man. During the whole stay he supported us the best way possible. Unfortunately the room was not exactly as in the description. In the description we booked a seaview double bed (queen-size) but our room was a seaview twin (2 separate beds). This was disappointing, but we didn't want to put any pressure on the team, especially after such a warm welcome. But I wanted to share this detail. The following days, the Front Office helped us to arrange an excursion to the Maspalomas Dunes with bus transfer directly from the hotel. Great service provided. Everytime we approached the Front Desk they helped us with a smile. 3 days before our check-out we requested a late check out, because we had a late flight. We were asking daily if there are any updates regarding our request, but we were advised to ask the day of the departure. Unfortunately, they told us that a late check out wasn't possible due to availability. They provided a courtesy room for 20 minutes with an appointment just to change. Not ideal. Absolutely great location. Las Canteras beach is simply amazing. Safe at every time of day, well taken care of & clean, beautiful, cheap rent for umbrellas and sunbeds and friendly people who will rent them out to you. Illuminated 24h a day. Oh and it's never overcrowded. And there's a taxi stop directly across the city side hotel entrance. The hotel itself is nice. Not amazing but nice and I had nothing to complain about. The staff is nice to very nice. Super friendly cleaning staff. The hotel pool at the roof is also great. Super clean and the perfect temperature for swimming, I'd estimate 28°C. And while not perfect for swimming laps (one side is very shallow), it's suited well enough so that swimming is enjoyable. Breakfast is good especially if you factor in the room price. Almost at the level of e.g. Catalonia hotels with twice the room price. Small minus: the safe in the room was way too small for my 14" laptop - I think it would not even fit a 13".
The property is beautiful and in an excellent location, with all the potential to provide a five-star experience. Unfortunately, the level of customer service significantly impacted our stay. While it is understandable that the staff may be busy and focused on quick room turnover, the service felt inflexible and not particularly accommodating, which made the overall experience less enjoyable. There were also several small but important details that need improvement. For example, towels were provided strictly based on the number of guests, with no easy way to request extras, especially since the room phone was not working. These may seem like minor issues, but they make a noticeable difference in guest comfort. This property truly has great potential, and with a few improvements in service and attention to guest needs, it could easily deserve a five-star rating. I hope to return in the future and see these details addressed.
Clean and modern rooms with an amazing breakfast. The location is very good as it's on the beach facing the promenade. There is a free parking but it's not guaranteed you'll find a spot. You can also park at a nearby parking and you get a discount if you get the ticket stamped by the hotel. The final price is 14 euros / day. You get rooms with spa included, but actually only the access is included, massage for example costs extra money and reuquires appointment in advance.
Exceptional good location. The breakfast is good. The dinner is, not worth the price in my eyes. They use good ingredients, but the chefs are not trained properly. No seasoning, everything cooked till double death. The dishwasher team in the kitchen also doesn't pay the most of attention to their work.
