Aminta Home

Gran Canaria

Aminta Home is a charming bed and breakfast situated in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, offering a unique blend of historical architecture and comfortable accommodations. Housed in a beautifully restored 1900s Canarian dwelling, the property's design retains its historic essence while providing modern comfort. Guests will find spaces that encourage relaxation and social interaction, reminiscent of the large, family-centric homes of the past. The common areas, including a traditional patio, a welcoming lounge, and a spacious terrace, provide inviting settings that enhance the overall experience.

The atmosphere of Aminta Home is one of tranquil nostalgia, accentuated by its retro style and the use of restored antique furniture in its interiors. Each guest room is distinct, with a decor that surprises with unique details and simplicity. The rooms, which include doubles and singles with either shared or private bathrooms, are designed to provide a peaceful retreat from the bustling urban surroundings.

Enjoying breakfast in the elegantly sunlit saloon is an experience in itself, offering a delightful start to the day. The guesthouse is particularly suited for travelers seeking a culturally rich and serene lodging option, making it ideal for solo explorers, couples, and friends looking to unwind after exploring the lively city of Las Palmas. Although it does not cater specifically to families with young children, the welcoming ambiance and attentive service ensure a pleasant stay for those visiting Gran Canaria.

I’ve stayed here three times, which says everything. The place is consistently clean and well looked after. The host is fantastic – responsive, professional, and genuinely cares that your stay goes smoothly. There’s a proper kitchen if you want to cook, a great rooftop area, and it’s quiet despite being in a perfect location. Comfortable, hassle-free, and reliable. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Gran Canaria.

beautiful architecture, excellent hosts, shared toilets but kept very clean, our twin bed room was dark as it didnt have windows but we didnt mind! (would be good to put a mirror in there though) good location, walking distance to museums/restaurants, bus to the city centre beach is only 20 minutes.
