Description
This workshop offers an authentic experience on an organic Aloe Vera farm in Gran Canaria. It starts with a welcome from the team and an introduction to the farm’s history, values, and the role of organic farming in the Canary Islands.
You will then take a guided walk through the plantation, identifying the Aloe Barbadensis Miller variety and learning about its growing conditions. The guide will explain why the local climate and soil produce aloe of exceptional quality. You will observe the leaf harvesting process and participate in a live demonstration of cutting a fresh aloe leaf.
Next, you will extract aloe pulp and create your own natural body scrub using local ingredients like sea salt and lemon. Each participant can take their handmade scrub home as a souvenir.
The workshop concludes with a tasting of aloe-derived products, an opportunity to ask questions, take photos, and learn about the cosmetic uses and natural benefits of Aloe Vera.
