Description
The tour begins with a transfer to Santa Cruz dock for the ferry to Gran Canaria, arriving at Puerto de las Nieves (Agaete). Your first stop is Destilería Arehucas, where you will explore the history, tradition, and rum production process. Visit one of Europe’s oldest rum cellars, housing 4,308 American oak barrels, including 300 signed by celebrities. The tasting session offers a selection of premium rums.
Next, visit Poema del Mar Aquarium in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, opened in 2017. It features three environments: jungle, beach-reef, and ocean-depths. It holds the largest curved glass panel in the world and displays approximately 350 species, including sharks, piranhas, stingrays, crocodiles, and sea dragons.
The final stop is Vegueta, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria’s historic center founded in the late 15th century. The walking tour covers landmarks such as Casa de Colón, Santa Ana Cathedral, the Canarian Museum, the Atlantic Centre of Modern Art, plus local shops and markets in Triana street.
After the visit, return to Puerto de las Nieves (Agaete) for the ferry back to Tenerife. Pickup points and times will be confirmed 24 hours before departure. Tours in Russian and Estonian are available only on Wednesdays.
