Description
The Discover Scuba Diving tour allows you to dive up to 12 meters even if you have never dived before. The day begins with a complimentary hotel pickup from anywhere in the south of Gran Canaria.
At the dive center, you’ll try on professional Cressi equipment and meet your qualified PADI instructor while enjoying a coffee. The dive site is chosen daily based on weather conditions, usually Amadores or Tufia.
Training lasts about 30 minutes and covers basic scuba skills to make you comfortable underwater. Additional time is offered if needed to ensure you feel relaxed before diving.
During high season, larger groups may be split into two smaller groups for safety, with one group waiting at the beach while the other dives. Waiting time is typically around one hour.
The underwater dive itself lasts approximately 50 minutes, depending on air consumption. You will have the opportunity to encounter various marine species, including the native Angel Sharks.
After the dive, you are returned directly to your hotel, usually in time for lunch.

Important Information
- This tour is weather dependent and may rarely be canceled due to storms (about once a year on average)
- Pickup time may vary depending on daily schedules and hotel location; your exact pickup time will be confirmed after booking
- Divers must wait at least 12 hours before flying after the dive

Book in advance, wear swimwear and bring a towel. Morning dives offer calmer seas and better visibility.
