Since 2025, access to Roque Nublo is limited to protect the environment. Visitors can only reach it by public transport or with authorised guides, making independent visits difficult.
Led by native guides Inés and Juanjo, this small-group tour (maximum 6 participants) avoids commercial stops and focuses on an authentic experience. You will explore the island’s centre, including Roque Nublo, while learning about Gran Canaria’s history, culture, and legends.
The tour includes a picnic with sandwiches and local fruits. This immersive experience offers insight and enjoyment in a relaxed setting.

Important Information
- The route may change due to road or weather conditions.
- The activity runs in all weather except when authorities prohibit hiking due to:
- Yellow alert or higher for temperatures
- Yellow alert or higher for wind
- Yellow alert or higher for rain or snow
- Forest fire risk alert
- In these cases, an alternative route will be taken.
- Hiking distance: approximately 3 km; total walking 4–5 km.

Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
Book in advance to secure your guided access and bring appropriate footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, and at least 1.5 litres of water. Morning departures are recommended for cooler hiking conditions.
