Description
Your day begins with a pick-up around 9:00 a.m., followed by transport to the dive centre. After completing formalities, you will attend a briefing, check your equipment, and prepare for diving. Depending on the site, access is either by walk or short drive.
The activity includes two dives separated by a rest period where drinks are available. After the second dive, you return to the dive centre and then back to the original pick-up location. The tour concludes around 2:30 p.m.
The price covers diving equipment, insurance, transfer, and guidance by a local certified instructor.
Dive Sites
Playa Flamingo
This house reef offers clear visibility and a variety of schooling fish such as bastard grunt, barracudas, salema, striped seabream, bogue, sand smelt, sardines, and tuna. The white sand seabed provides habitat for spotted torpedo rays, angel sharks, and spiny butterfly rays, visible at depths from 0 to 18 meters.
Recommendation: Suitable for Open Water Diver (OWD) and Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) certifications.
Timanfaya Reef
Starting near the Timanfaya Hotel beach, this easy dive follows a reef with a gentle current towards Playa Flamingo. Expect to encounter rays, sardines, barracudas, and angel sharks. Dive duration is 45 to 60 minutes with a maximum depth of 18 meters, ideal for divers of all training levels.
