Description
Your guides, Inés and Juanjo, are native to Gran Canaria and offer an authentic perspective on the island’s culture and heritage. Gran Canaria is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve rich in historical, archaeological, and natural significance.
The tour begins in Maspalomas with the distribution of a picnic bag to enjoy at any stop. Travel in a luxury Peugeot Traveller Business VIP van featuring leather seats, climate control, USB chargers, panoramic roof, XL seats, screens, and automatic doors for comfort throughout the day.
The first stop is Degollada de la Yegua, offering views of the 1,000 Palm Trees Valley. The route continues through farmland and forested landscapes, climbing towards the island’s summits. Photo stops will be made along the way.
In Tejeda, you have free time to explore independently. Options include visiting the local church, UNESCO & Biosphere Reserve centre, sampling almond sweets and coffee at cafés, or admiring the unique Canarian architecture and surrounding views.
Next is Pico de las Nieves, where you can see a full 360° panorama including Roque Nublo, Roque Bentayga, the Maspalomas Dunes, and neighboring islands.
The descent passes through the eastern volcanic region, stopping at Caldera de los Marteles, an ancient volcanic crater with diverse flora. Finally, the tour visits Agüimes, a culturally rich village noted for its colorful streets, sculptures, and church.
The day concludes with a return to Maspalomas, completing a comprehensive exploration that reflects the essence of Gran Canaria.
