Description
Our route starts in the small village of Veneguera, where you can admire the largest cardón on the island.
Next, we'll walk through a valley full of mango and avocado plantations, also known as the island's green gold. Along the way, you'll see some abandoned farms and impressive rock formations, but one of the highlights is definitely the colorful tiled wall that's part of the Inagua Nature Reserve.
After our little picnic, we'll continue the walk to the other side of the valley, where we can enjoy a wide variety of flowers and views of the sea. A hike with a unique view of the west side of Gran Canaria.
Finally, we'll head back to the small town of Veneguera, where we can enjoy fresh mangoes and papayas in a juice.
Although it's only 5 km, with a 350 m elevation gain, it's a demanding route. It's essential to wear good shoes, and for this we always have professional hiking boots for rent.
