Description

The Barranco de los Cernícalos is a magical spot for hiking. It's a ravine with lush vegetation, where you can see a ton of species like palm trees, ferns, and native plants, creating a cool oasis in the arid landscape of Gran Canaria. A spectacular landscape with vertical walls and the presence of birds like kestrels, hawks, and eagles. A haven for the island's native plants and animals. One of the coolest things, of course, is the sound of the water, the streams, and the little waterfalls that give this place a special charm. When we get to our picnic spot, if you're not too hungry and can share a small piece of your sandwich with them, you can even feed the lizards! It's a chance to connect with nature in its purest form, discover the beauty of the Canarian ravines, and learn about the importance of preserving this ecosystem. The tour wraps up with a visit to one of Gran Canaria's most beautiful villages, where you can check out the typical architecture and the charm of the hiking area. You'll also get to explore some of the area's treasures and typical products, like the famous bronze statues and colonial-era buildings.
