Description
The ride crosses a dry, desert-like countryside abandoned by agriculture, overlooking typical Canarian valleys (Barrancos) with endemic vegetation and wild birds. The trail passes under a bridge to reach the coast, allowing trotting and cantering on flat or uphill sandy and firm ground.
After crossing a green field where horses graze on fresh grass, the tour continues along the dramatic cliffs of Tufia, Telde, El Goro, and up to Salineta harbour. The area’s distinctive black and white stones consist of volcanic and limestone materials.
Riders encounter fish farming zones about 200 meters offshore, surrounded by deep blue seas often accompanied by large waves. This experience is not suitable for riders weighing over 100 kg.
